Sari Pamer (*1996) studied from 2017 to 2021 for her bachelor’s degree in Theater Studies as a major at the universities of Bern and Stockholm, and in German Literature as a minor at the University of Zurich. She completed her master’s degree in Dance Studies and German Literature: Theory, Analysis, Communication at the universities of Bern and Zurich. Her master’s thesis, titled "Neue Tendenzen im Tanz – neue Tendenzen in der Kritik", examines the changes in (dance) criticism and public relations in contemporary dance through digital media. Both her Bachelor's and Master's theses were published online in the series BATT – Berner Arbeiten zur Theater- und Tanzwissenschaft. From 2021 to 2023, Sari Pamer was employed as a research assistant to Prof. Dr. Christina Thurner. During this time, she also worked as a tutor for the lecture on Dance History and the introductory course on Dramaturgy and Performance Analysis. In 2022, she offered a tutorial for the lecture series on Social Choreographies. Since the 2025 spring semester, she is pursuing her doctorate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christina Thurner and is leading the course on Academic Writing. Additionally, Sari Pamer works as a freelance journalist. In 2022, she worked as a writer for the festival "Zürich tanzt." She is a co-founder of "Intrige – Magazin für junges Theater" and regularly writes articles for national and international journals and magazines.
